Sharur is a town and the administrative centre of Sharur District in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, located about 45 km northwest of Nakhchivan city. It is the second-largest town in the exclave and an agricultural hub in the Arpa River valley.

Nakhchivan International Airport (NAJ) about 50 km southeast.

By Car / Road

From Nakhchivan city, drive 45 km northwest (50 min). Marshrutkas run from the bus station.

Walkable in the centre. Taxis for outlying areas.
