Huxi

Huxi (湖西) is a township in eastern Penghu County, Taiwan, located on the main Penghu Island. It is known for its traditional fishing villages, scenic coast, and the Penghu Aquarium. The area offers a quieter alternative to Magong.

The climate is subtropical. April to October are the best months.

Penghu Airport (MZG) is located in Huxi, making it the most accessible part of the island by air.

By Car / Road

From Magong, Huxi is about 10 minutes by car. Buses connect the area.

A scooter or car is recommended for exploring the coastal villages.
