Why visit Sadarak?

Sadarak is a town and the administrative centre of Sadarak District in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, located in the westernmost part of the exclave near the border with Turkey. It is the closest Azerbaijani settlement to Turkey and sits in the Arax River valley.

Summers are very hot (30–38°C), winters cold (−2 to 5°C).

By Plane

Nakhchivan International Airport (NAJ) about 60 km southeast.

By Car / Road

From Nakhchivan city, drive 50 km west (1 hr). Marshrutkas run from the bus station.
