Celikhan

Çelikhan is a small town and district in Adıyaman Province, located in a mountainous area northwest of the provincial capital. It is a quiet, rural settlement known for its forests, springs, and traditional village life. The surrounding area is popular for summer retreats due to its cooler mountain climate.

Çelikhan has a continental climate with warm summers and cold, snowy winters. The best time to visit is late spring through early autumn.

Adıyaman Airport (ADF IATA) is about 60 km southeast. Taxis and shuttle services connect from there.

By Car / Road

Çelikhan is about an hour's drive northwest of Adıyaman city. The road winds through scenic mountain landscapes. Minibuses run from Adıyaman.

The town is small and walkable. A car is helpful for exploring the surrounding mountains.
