Sincik

Sincik is a remote district in the north of Adıyaman Province, located in the foothills of the Taurus Mountains. It is a quiet, rural area known for its forests, highland plateaus (yaylas), and traditional village life. The area is popular among locals as a summer retreat due to its cooler mountain climate.

Sincik has a continental climate with warm summers and cold, snowy winters. Late spring through early autumn is the best time to visit.

Adıyaman Airport (ADF IATA) is about 50 km south. Malatya Airport (MLX IATA) is about 70 km north.

By Car / Road

Sincik is about an hour's drive north of Adıyaman city. The road climbs into the hills with scenic views. Limited minibus services connect from Adıyaman.

The town is small and walkable. A car is needed for exploring the highland areas.
