Jaalan Bani Bu Ali is a historic town in the Janub ash Sharqiyah region of Oman, the southern neighbour of Jaalan Bani Bu Hassan. Like its counterpart, it is deeply rooted in Bedouin tradition and sits at the edge of the Arabian Desert. The town is known for its fort, its traditional souq, and its role in Omani history — it was the site of a significant battle in 1913 during the Imamate period.
The climate is hot and dry in summer, with a mild winter from November to February. The town is traditional and conservative.

The town is about 45 minutes southwest of Sur on Route 23. A 4WD is recommended for exploring the surrounding area.
