About Langtang

Langtang is a town in Plateau State, the headquarters of Langtang North local government area. It is the cultural heartland of the Tarok people and is famous for the Langtang Dance and the annual Tarok Cultural Festival. The town sits in a fertile valley on the southern slopes of the Jos Plateau, supporting rice, yam, and maize cultivation. Langtang's market is a collection point for rice, and the surrounding hills offer pleasant hiking opportunities.

Yakubu Gowon Airport (JOS) is about 110 km north-west.

By Car / Road

Langtang is on the Jos–Wukari road, about 2.5 hours south of Jos. Buses from Jos pass through.
