Riyom

Riyom is a town in Plateau State, the headquarters of Riyom local government area. It lies in a scenic highland area of the Jos Plateau with dramatic rocky hills, deep valleys, and cool temperatures. Riyom is a centre for the Berom people and their cultural traditions, including the annual Nzem Berom festival. The town's economy is based on Irish potato, maize, and vegetable farming, as well as tourism drawn by the area's natural beauty and hiking trails.
