Brass

Bayelsa, Nigeria

Why visit Brass?

Brass is a historic coastal town in southern Bayelsa State, situated at the mouth of the Brass River where it meets the Atlantic Ocean. It is an important fishing and trading centre and the location of the Brass LNG terminal, a major liquefied natural gas export facility. The town is the seat of the Amayanabo of Brass.

The town is accessible only by boat or air. The dry season (November–March) is the best time to visit.
