Resunga

Resunga is a municipality in Gulmi District, a hill town located at approximately 1,200 m. It is known for the Resunga Hill, a scenic viewpoint and pilgrimage site with panoramic views of the Himalayas and surrounding valleys.

The climate is subtropical hill climate with warm summers, a monsoon (June–September), and cool winters (October–February). The best time to visit is October–March.

The nearest airport is at Butwal or Pokhara. Taxi from Butwal costs Rs 3500–4500 (3 hours).

Resunga is 80 km north of Butwal via a winding hill road. Buses from Butwal (Rs 300–500) run daily.
