Kara-Alma (Kyrgyz: Кара-Алма, meaning "Black Apple") is a village in Jalal-Abad Region, located in the mountains west of Arslanbob at about 1,500 m elevation. The population is about 1,500. The village is known for its apple orchards and scenic mountain setting.

The area is covered with wild and cultivated fruit trees, including apples, apricots, and walnuts. The climate is milder than the valley floor: warm summers (25-30°C) and cool winters. Summer is the best time to visit. Kara-Alma is a quiet off-the-beaten-path destination for nature lovers.

Osh International Airport (OSS IATA) is about 150 km south.

By Car / Road

Access from Arslanbob via a winding mountain road, about 1 hour by 4WD (300–400 som). A local jeep is recommended. The road is rough in places.
