Kochkor-Ata (Kyrgyz: Кочкор-Ата) is a town in Jalal-Abad Region, located about 80 km west of Jalal-Abad city in the Ferghana Valley. The population is approximately 15,000. It is an industrial town centred around oil and gas extraction, with a refinery processing petroleum from local fields.

The climate is continental: hot summers (30-35°C) and cool winters (-5 to -10°C). Spring and autumn are the best times to visit. Kochkor-Ata is primarily an industrial centre off the main tourist route.
