Kara-Kol (Kyrgyz: Кара-Кол) is a town in Jalal-Abad Region, about 40 km southwest of Jalal-Abad city in the Ferghana Valley foothills. The population is about 20,000. It is an agricultural and light-industrial centre, known for its proximity to the Arslanbob walnut forest.

The town lies near the Kara-Kol River, a tributary of the Kara-Darya. The climate is continental: hot summers (30-35°C) and cool winters (-5 to -10°C). Spring and autumn are the best times to visit. Kara-Kol is a convenient base for exploring the Arslanbob area.
