How do you get there?

Krui is reached by road from Bandar Lampung, a winding coastal drive.

What are the things to do?

The Krui coastline and its surf breaks, the pepper-growing hills inland, and the wider Pesisir Barat (West Coast) scenery.

Surfing is Krui's main draw: the coastline is split into distinct surf zones — Tanjung Setia, Mandiri, and the Krui/Utara district among them — that between them offer over a dozen recognized breaks along roughly 100 km of coast. Named breaks include Ujung Bocur (a fickle but powerful left-hand reef break near Tanjung Setia) and Mandiri Beach (a consistent, powerful beach break considered among the best in Indonesia). The area has hosted World Surf League Krui Pro events.
