How do you get there?

Koné is about 230 km north of Nouméa via RT1, roughly a 3-hour drive. Koné Airport has regular flights from Nouméa (Air Calédonie). Buses connect Koné to Nouméa and other towns.

A car is necessary for exploring the Koné area. The town center is small and walkable, but attractions are spread out. Taxis are limited.
