Why visit Veules-les-Roses?
Veules-les-Roses is a seaside village on the Alabaster Coast in Seine-Maritime, named one of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France. It takes its name from the Veules River, the shortest river in France at just 1.1 km long, which flows through the village into the English Channel. The village is known for its thatched cottages, watercress beds, and a sandy beach set between chalk cliffs.
