How do you get there?

By Plane

José Martí International Airport (HAV) in Havana is the nearest airport, approximately 35 km northeast. A taxi from the airport to Bauta costs around CUC 30–40 and takes about 40 minutes.

By Car / Road

Bauta is accessible from Havana via the Carretera Sur or local roads from the A1 autopista. The drive takes approximately 40 minutes. Local buses and colectivos connect Bauta with Havana and Artemisa.

The town centre is compact and walkable. Bici-taxis provide short-distance transport within town. For longer trips, local colectivos and private taxis are available.
