Why visit Ivatsevichy?

Ivatsevichy is a railway town in central Bresckaja voblasć, located on the historic Moscow–Warsaw railway line. It grew as a settlement for railway workers and sawmilling in the early 20th century and later developed food and light industries. The town has a modest museum of local history and several Soviet-era WWII memorials. It's primarily a transit stop for travellers on the M1 highway or the railway.

By Train

Ivatsevichy has a station on the Brest–Minsk line. Regional trains from Brest take about 1 hour 15 minutes.

By Car / Road

Located directly on the M1/E30 highway between Brest and Minsk. From Brest about 120 km (1.5 hours), from Minsk about 200 km (2.5 hours).

The town is small enough to walk. The railway station is in the centre.
