Luninets

Luninets is a small railway town in central Bresckaja voblasć, located where the Luninets–Baranavichy and Luninets–Sarny railway lines meet. It was an important junction in the Russian Empire and retains a number of early-20th-century buildings, including a distinctive railway station. The town has a modest charm and serves as a transport hub for the surrounding Polesian region.

Nearest major airport: Minsk National Airport (MSQ, 240 km north-east).

By Train

Luninets is a railway junction. Trains from Brest take about 3 hours; from Baranavichy about 1.5 hours; from Pinsk about 40 minutes.

By Car / Road

From Brest, take the M12 highway east toward Pinsk, then continue to Luninets (200 km, 2.5 hours). From Minsk, the drive is about 240 km (3 hours).

The town centre and station area are walkable.
