Demirchi

Demirchi is a village in Shamakhi Rayon, central Azerbaijan, located in the Caucasus foothills. The village is agricultural and rural, with farming and livestock as the main activities. Demirchi is a quiet settlement with no tourist infrastructure. The best visiting months are May to September.

By Plane

Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) in Baku, about 140 km east, is the nearest major airport. Travel to Shamakhi (1.5–2 hours), then onward to Demirchi by taxi (30 minutes).

By Car / Road

From Shamakhi, head north on a local road for about 20 km. A taxi from Shamakhi costs 15–20 AZN.

Demirchi is very small and walkable.
