Sana'a International Airport (SAH) is the nearest major airport, about 110 km south. Road transport is the only option onward.

By Train

No railway in Yemen.

By Car / Road

Kharif is reached by road from 'Amran town (approximately 40 km north, 1 hour). From Sana'a it is about 110 km and 2.5 hours via the main highway north. Shared taxis from 'Amran serve Kharif irregularly.

The town is walkable. A private vehicle is necessary for exploring the wider district.
