Why visit Xuan Truong?

Xuân Trường is a coastal rural district in eastern Nam Định province, situated in the low-lying delta region where the Red River approaches the Gulf of Tonkin. The district capital is the town of Xuân Trường. The economy is based on agriculture (rice and vegetables), fishing, and small-scale manufacturing. Xuân Trường is known for its traditional Catholic communities and several historic churches.

The climate is humid subtropical with hot, wet summers (May–October) and cool, dry winters (November–March). The district's proximity to the coast means it is occasionally affected by tropical storms from July to September. Spring (March–April) and autumn (October–November) are the best times to visit.
