Xuan Loc
Đồng Nai, Viet Nam
Why visit Xuan Loc?
Xuan Loc is a district in eastern Đồng Nai province, located about 70 km east of Bien Hoa along National Highway 1A. The district is historically significant as the site of the Battle of Xuân Lộc, one of the final and bloodiest engagements of the Vietnam War in April 1975. Today, Xuan Loc is primarily agricultural, known for rubber, cashew, and fruit production.
The district's name means "Spring Water" in Vietnamese. Xuan Loc town is a busy market centre along the highway corridor, serving the surrounding farming communities. The area saw significant development after the war, with former battlefields transformed into agricultural land and new settlements.
The climate is tropical monsoon with a dry season from November to April and a rainy season from May to October. Temperatures average 25–35°C.
