Dinh Quan
Đồng Nai, Viet Nam
Why visit Dinh Quan?
Dinh Quan is a mountainous district in northern Đồng Nai province, bordered by Bình Thuận and Lâm Đồng provinces. It is the most remote and least developed district in Đồng Nai, characterised by forested hills, coffee and pepper plantations, and a sparsely populated rural landscape. Dinh Quan town is a small market settlement serving the surrounding agricultural communities.
The district's name comes from the Dinh River (Sông Đinh), which flows through the area. The terrain rises from the Đồng Nai River valley toward the Central Highlands plateau, giving Dinh Quan a more elevated and cooler climate than the rest of the province. The area is known for its pristine natural environment and ethnic minority communities.
The climate is tropical monsoon with a notable dry season from November to March and a wet season from April to October. Due to its elevation, temperatures are slightly cooler than coastal areas, ranging from 22–32°C.
