Dak R'Lap
Đắk Nông, Viet Nam
Why visit Dak R'Lap?
Dak R'Lap (Đắk R'lấp) is a rural district in southwestern Đắk Nông province, Central Highlands of Vietnam. The district lies along the border with Bình Phước province and is known for its fertile basalt soils that support extensive coffee, pepper, and rubber plantations. The district capital is Kiến Đức town. Dak R'Lap's population is a mix of Kinh, M'Nong, and other ethnic minority groups who have cultivated the highland red soils for generations.
The climate is typical of the Central Highlands: a rainy season from April to October and a dry season from November to March. The district is less mountainous than eastern parts of the province, with rolling hills and agricultural landscapes dominating the scenery.
