Fethiye is a coastal city in Muğla Province, southwestern Turkey, renowned for its stunning natural setting. The town is famous for Ölüdeniz (the Blue Lagoon), paragliding from Babadağ Mountain, and the ancient Lycian rock tombs carved into the cliffs. Fethiye has a population of around 90,000 and is one of Turkey's top adventure tourism destinations.
The climate is Mediterranean with hot, dry summers and mild winters. The best time to visit is April to October.
