Ortaca

Ortaca is a town in Muğla Province, southwestern Turkey, located inland from the Dalaman coast. With a population of around 15,000, it is a market town for the surrounding agricultural area, known for citrus fruits, especially oranges and tangerines. Its location makes it a convenient base for exploring Köyceğiz Lake, Dalyan, and the nearby beaches.

The climate is Mediterranean with hot, dry summers and mild, rainy winters. Spring and autumn are ideal. The town centre is compact with a lively market.
