Sutculer

Isparta, Turkey

Why visit Sutculer?

Sütçüler is a town in southeastern Isparta Province and the seat of Sütçüler District (area 1,235 km², population around 9,900 as of 2022; the town itself has around 2,500 residents), set in a mountain valley in the Taurus foothills. The district is known for Yazılı Canyon and the Adada ancient city, both within its borders. Isparta Province as a whole is a major centre of Turkish rose-oil production, and rose harvesting takes place on the Isparta plain rather than in Sütçüler's mountain terrain specifically.
