Isparta, Turkey

Why visit Atabey?

Atabey is a district town in central Isparta Province, about 15 km north-northeast of Isparta city, in the historic Pisidia region of Anatolia. The area was home to Seleuceia Sidera, a Hellenistic city founded near modern Bayat (within the district) by the Seleucid dynasty to guard the military road across northern Pisidia. Today Atabey is a small agricultural town.
