Sussex

Sussex is a beach village on the western coast of the Freetown Peninsula in the Western Area of Sierra Leone. Known for its long stretch of sandy beach and good surfing conditions, it is a popular weekend destination for Freetown residents and tourists alike. The village has a relaxed, laid-back character.

The climate is tropical, with a dry season from December to April being the best time for beach activities. The rainy season is from May to November.

Sussex is on the western coast road of the Freetown Peninsula, about 45 minutes to 1 hour from central Freetown. The road is paved.
