Nguékhokh is a town and urban commune in the Mbour department of the Thiès region, on national route N1 between Mbour and Rufisque. It gained commune status in 1996 and has grown quickly, with its population nearly doubling from about 27,000 in 2013 to roughly 48,000 by 2023. A wine production facility opened in the town in 2015.
