Pagudpud
Ilocos (Region I), Philippines
Why visit Pagudpud?
Pagudpud is a coastal town at the northern tip of Ilocos Norte, often called the "Boracay of the North" for its powdery white-sand beaches. With the South China Sea on one side and the Cordillera mountains on the other, Pagudpud's landscape is stunningly varied — from the wind turbines of Bangui to the windswept sand dunes of the Paoay area. The town has a small permanent population of about 25,000 but swells with tourists during the peak season (December–May).
