Lekki

Lagos, Nigeria

Why visit Lekki?

Lekki is the fast-growing eastern peninsula of Lagos, stretching from the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge towards Epe. Over the past two decades, Lekki has transformed from farmland and fishing villages into Lagos's most desirable residential and commercial suburb — a corridor of gated estates, shopping centres, beach resorts, and corporate offices. The Lekki–Epe Expressway is the main artery, lined with new developments, banks, and restaurants. Lekki is less dense and chaotic than Lagos Island, with broader streets and a more planned layout in its newer districts. It is home to the Lekki Conservation Centre, Elegushi Beach, and the newer areas of Ajah, Sangotedo, and Eleko.
