Agege is a northern mainland suburb of Lagos, located along the Agege Motor Road between Ikeja and Oshodi. It is a busy commercial and residential corridor known for the Agege Stadium (home to the Agege FC football club) and the densely packed markets lining the main road. Agege grew rapidly in the post-independence era as Lagos expanded northward.
