Why visit Akokwa?
Akokwa is a town of roughly 30,000 people in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State, one of several towns in the LGA alongside Umualaoma, Obodoukwu, Uzii, Osina, Akpulu, Arondiizuogu and Isiokpo. The population is predominantly Igbo, with smaller Hausa and Yoruba communities, and Igbo is the town's native language.
