Kumbor is located about 6 km east of Herceg Novi along the E65 highway. It is easily reached by local bus from Herceg Novi. The town is highly accessible from Tivat Airport (25 km away via the ferry) and Dubrovnik Airport (30 km away).
The town is walkable, especially along the waterfront. The modern Portonovi complex is entirely pedestrianized, making it very pleasant for walking.

The main attraction is the luxury Portonovi Marina, which features stunning modern architecture, high-end yachts, and beautiful landscaped gardens. The historic Church of St. Basil of Ostrog is another local landmark.
