Migdal HaEmek (Hebrew: מגדל העמק, "Tower of the Valley") is a small city in the Jezreel Valley area of northern Israel. Founded in 1953 as a development town, it has a population of approximately 28,000, with a significant portion of immigrants from the former Soviet Union and Ethiopia. The city sits on a hill overlooking the Jezreel Valley.
Migdal HaEmek is primarily a residential and industrial city, not a tourist destination. It is known for its industrial zones and technology companies. The climate is Mediterranean with hot summers and mild winters.

By Plane
Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) is approximately 95 km south. Take a train to Afula, then a local bus. Haifa Airport (HFA) is about 50 km west.
By Train
There is no train station in Migdal HaEmek. The nearest station is in Afula (about 10 km east).
By Car / Road
From Afula: approximately 10 km (15 min) via Route 75. From Nazareth: approximately 20 km (25 min). From Haifa: approximately 55 km (50 min) via Route 75. Bus services connect to Afula and Nazareth via Superbus.
The city is compact enough to navigate by car or taxi. Internal bus lines connect neighborhoods. Walking within the city center is feasible.
