Rosh Pinna

Ash Shamali, Israel

Why visit Rosh Pinna?

Rosh Pinna (Hebrew: ראש פינה, lit. "Cornerstone") is a historic moshav (cooperative agricultural community) in the Upper Galilee of northern Israel. Founded in 1882 by Romanian Jewish immigrants, it is one of the oldest Jewish settlements in the Galilee established during the modern Zionist period. The original stone buildings of the old neighborhood have been beautifully restored and the town has become a charming tourist destination with boutique hotels, art galleries, and restaurants.

The town sits on a hillside with views of the Hula Valley, Mount Hermon, and the Golan Heights. The climate is pleasant in summer and cool in winter. It is located just 15 minutes from Safed and serves as a quieter, more upscale alternative for accommodation.
