Why visit Magelang?
Magelang is a city in Central Java, best known as the nearest major town to the Borobudur Temple, the world's largest Buddhist temple and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city itself has a relaxed atmosphere, colonial-era architecture, and is a gateway to exploring the Kedu Plain, one of Java's most historically significant areas dotted with ancient temples.
