Elubo

Western, Ghana

Why visit Elubo?

Elubo, in the Jomoro district of Ghana's Western Region, is the country's main official land crossing to Côte d'Ivoire, facing the Ivorian border town of Noé across the frontier on the Abidjan–Lagos road corridor. It had a settlement population of about 23,950 at the 2021 census. Beyond the customs and immigration posts, the town hosts a port health unit handling public-health screening at the crossing; smaller-scale local traffic, including canoes on the Tano River, also crosses nearby.
