Busua is a beach resort town and fishing village in the Ahanta area of the Western Region, about 30 km west of Sekondi-Takoradi. Widely considered Ghana's surfing capital, it has near-daily surfable waves — a beginner/intermediate-friendly beach break plus the more advanced Black Mamba point break — alongside an active fishing community whose boats can be seen returning with the day's catch.
