Malkerns

Manzini, Eswatini

Why visit Malkerns?

Malkerns is a small town in the Manzini Region, in the fertile Middleveld valley between Ezulwini and Manzini. It is best known for the Malkerns Valley's traditional craft production — hand-woven baskets, textiles, and beadwork made by local artisans — and for Malandela's, a complex that grew from a family farm in the 1970s into a restaurant in the 1990s and today combines a craft market, a brewery, artisan shops, and House on Fire, a well-known performing-arts and live-music venue.
