Why visit Royal Jozini Game Reserve?

Royal Jozini Private Game Reserve is a private reserve spanning over 7,000 hectares in the foothills of the Lubombo Mountains in south-eastern Eswatini, near Lavumisa, encompassing the northern part of Lake Jozini and several ecosystems including bushveld and arid-veld grassland. Founded in 2006 by a consortium of private investors, it is part of the cross-border Nsubane-Pongola Transfrontier Conservation Area shared with South Africa. It currently supports three of the Big Five — elephant, leopard and buffalo — along with giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, kudu, nyala, waterbuck and nearly 300 recorded bird species; there have been stated plans to reintroduce lion and cheetah.
