Jannusan

Jannusan is a village in the Northern Governorate of Bahrain, located in the agricultural belt north of the Budaiya Highway. It is a traditional settlement with a strong community character, surrounded by the date-palm groves and farms that have sustained Bahrain's agricultural heritage for centuries. The village maintains a quiet, residential atmosphere.

Jannusan has no tourist facilities but is conveniently located for exploring the archaeological sites, craft villages, and coastal areas of the Northern Governorate. The best time to visit is from November to March.

By Plane

Bahrain International Airport (BAH IATA) is approximately 25 km northeast, about a 25-minute drive. A taxi from the airport costs around BD 7–9.

By Car / Road

Jannusan is accessible via local roads off the Budaiya Highway, approximately 25 minutes from Manama and 10 minutes from Budaiya.

The village is walkable. A car is needed for wider exploration.
