Bico

Bico is a small village in Ağsu Rayon in central Azerbaijan, located in the foothills of the Greater Caucasus. It is a quiet agricultural community where residents cultivate grain, fruit, and raise livestock. The village has a rural character with a small mosque and surrounding orchards.

The terrain is gently hilly with mixed farmland and scrubland. The climate is moderate continental: warm summers (26–32 °C), cool winters (−1–5 °C). Spring and autumn are the best seasons.

Bico has no tourist infrastructure and is relevant to those exploring rural Ağsu Rayon.

The nearest airport is Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) in Baku, approximately 180 km east. A taxi from Baku costs 45–60 AZN (2.5–3 hours).

No railway station. The nearest is in Kurdamir (35 km north). From Kurdamir, take a taxi to Ağsu, then to Bico.

By Car / Road

From Baku, take the M2 to Kurdamir (150 km), then south to Ağsu (30 km), then local roads to Bico (approximately 10 km from Ağsu). From Ganja, about 140 km southeast (2 hours).
