An Bien

Kiến Giang, Viet Nam

Why visit An Bien?

An Bien (An Biên) is a rural district of Kiến Giang province in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam. Located along the coast of the Gulf of Thailand, the district has both agricultural and fishing communities. The district capital is the township of An Bien. The economy is based on rice cultivation, seafood harvesting, and aquaculture.

The climate is tropical monsoon, with a dry season from November to April and a rainy season from May to October. The coastal location means the area is influenced by sea breezes and occasional storm surges during the wet season.
