The nearest airport is Rach Gia Airport (VKG IATA), approximately 30 km south. Taxis and buses connect the airport to Hon Dat town.
By Car / Road
Hon Dat lies on provincial roads connecting to Rach Gia (25 km south) and the surrounding districts. Buses from Rach Gia's main bus station serve the route. By car, the journey from Rach Gia takes about 30 minutes.
Motorbike is the most practical way to explore the district. Motorbike taxis are available in the town centre. Bicycle is a pleasant option for exploring the flat countryside roads between rice paddies and along canals.
