Hengshan (橫山) is a rural township in central Hsinchu County, Taiwan, situated along the Neiwan branch railway line. The area is known for its scenic mountain landscapes, tea plantations, and Hakka cultural heritage. The small town of Hengshan clusters around its railway station, with traditional shops and houses.
The climate is subtropical. October to March offer the most pleasant weather. The township is sparsely populated, with the main settlement along the railway corridor.

By Plane
Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) is about 75 km north. A taxi takes about 1 hour 10 minutes and costs around NT$1,600–2,000.
By Train
Hengshan Station (橫山車站) is on the Neiwan branch line. From Hsinchu Station, the journey takes about 35 minutes (NT$60–90). The branch line is scenic and historic.
By Car / Road
Hengshan is accessible via County Road 120 and Provincial Highway 3. From Hsinchu City, drive southeast for about 30 minutes.
The station area is walkable. For exploring the surrounding mountains, a car is recommended.
