Queenstown

South West, Singapore

Why visit Queenstown?

Queenstown is Singapore's first satellite town, developed by the Singapore Improvement Trust (SIT) in the 1950s — predating the HDB era. Named after Queen Elizabeth II, it was a pioneering public housing project that set the template for Singapore's modern HDB towns. Today Queenstown is a heritage-rich neighbourhood with a distinctive retro character, especially around the historic Commonwealth and Alexandra areas.

Tropical climate year-round (27-33°C).
