Bukit Merah, meaning "red hill" in Malay, is a planning area in the south of Singapore, just west of the central business district. It is a mature residential estate developed from the 1960s, encompassing the sub-areas of Jalan Bukit Merah, Redhill, and Telok Blangah. The area offers excellent views of the harbour and Sentosa, and contains one of Singapore's most beautiful hill parks — Telok Blangah Hill Park.

By Plane
Changi Airport (SIN) is 22 km east, 30 min taxi ($28-35). MRT: take the Circle Line from the airport to HarbourFront, then the North East Line or bus to Telok Blangah (CC28). Alternatively, the East-West Line to Redhill (EW18).
By Train
Redhill MRT (EW18) and Telok Blangah MRT (CC28) serve the area. Both are 8-12 min from Raffles Place.
By Car / Road
Accessible via the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) and Alexandra Road. Parking at Bukit Merah Central and Telok Blangah Hill Park.

Telok Blangah Hill Park — A 34-hectare hill park with panoramic views of Keppel Harbour and Sentosa. Features the Forest Walk (a 1.3 km elevated walkway through the treetops). Free.
Henderson Waves — A distinctive wave-shaped pedestrian bridge connecting Telok Blangah Hill Park to Mount Faber. Singapore's highest pedestrian bridge.
Mount Faber Park — A 56-hectare park with cable car access to Sentosa. Free.
